NevUp Bridge — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NevUp Bridge ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension developed by NevUp. It works exclusively with the NevUp desktop application installed on your computer.

2. What data we access

The Extension reads the following data from web pages you visit on supported broker and social media platforms:

• Trade fills — order confirmations (symbol, side, quantity, price) from Webull, Robinhood, TradingView, and Tradovate.
• Social media dwell time — how long you actively view pages on Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord, StockTwits, and YouTube. Only total time in milliseconds is recorded; no post content, usernames, or personal messages are read.

3. Where your data goes

All data stays on your device. The Extension sends trade fills and social dwell time exclusively to the NevUp desktop application running locally on your computer (via Chrome's native messaging API at 127.0.0.1). No data is transmitted to any remote server by the Extension itself.

4. What we do NOT collect

• We do not read post content, messages, or personal profile data from social media.
• We do not read account balances, portfolio holdings, or login credentials.
• We do not store any data in the cloud or on NevUp servers through the Extension.
• We do not track browsing history outside of the listed broker and social media platforms.

5. Native messaging

The Extension uses Chrome's native messaging protocol to communicate with the NevUp desktop application. This communication is local-only (loopback interface). The native host executable must be installed on your computer separately from the Extension.

6. Permissions justification

• nativeMessaging — required to send trade data to the local NevUp desktop engine.
• Host permissions (broker sites) — required to detect trade fill events on each supported broker platform.
• Host permissions (social sites) — required to measure dwell time on platforms known to trigger trading FOMO, which the NevUp engine uses to flag behavioral risk.

7. Data retention

The Extension itself retains no data between browser sessions. Any data stored by the NevUp desktop application is governed by the NevUp application's privacy policy and your local storage settings.

8. Children's privacy

This Extension is intended for adult traders. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
